TREFF is dedicated and passionate about trauma research and injury prevention, exemplary trauma response and treatment, and physical and emotional rehabilitation for victims of trauma and their families. TREFF’s core purpose is to educate, train, and inspire medical professionals, emergency response teams, community groups and schools, and the public in ways that help people lead healthy active lives, and that save lives and reduce traumatic injuries due to preventable causes.

ATLS Refresher Course

The student refresher course is a one-half day program. Successful course completion is contingent on attending the entire session, successfully completing the Initial Assessment testing session, participating in the Triage Scenarios group discussion and achieving a score of >70% on the written post-test.
Eligible students must undertake the course no later than six months after their ATLS provider status has expired (i.e., no more than four-and-a-half-years must have elapsed since their last ATLS student course or a full course for certification is needed).
